About Us

My name is Paul Harris, I am a 4th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon-do. Tae Kwon-Do party instructorI began to learn Tae Kwon-Do in 1995 when I went along to classes in Barnstaple and Bideford with a friend. I can remember my very first night, as nervous as I was I found myself hooked on the thrill of Tae Kwon-Do, the fitness, and the challenge of learning something new. I never looked back after that first night and I still love every class all these years on.

In 1999 I was promoted to the rank of 1st Dan Black Belt after 4 years of hard, yet fun, and extremely fulfilling training. In 2003 I was promoted to 2nd Dan Black Belt and in the same year I was also promoted to the role of instructor for the North Devon area. My instructor is a 8th Dan Black Belt Master.

I have proudly been involved in teaching Tae Kwon-do in North Devon schools for fun taster sessions and for self defence awareness as part of various primary and secondary school’s educational and sports curriculums.

I am a member of the Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain, the UK’s largest TKD association and a member of the British Tae Kwon-Do Council. The BTC is the official link between Tae Kwon-Do in the UK and ‘Sport UK’.

I am a qualified and certified professional Tae Kwon-Do instructor meaning I have had, and must maintain, training in Health and Safety and Child Protection on top of the qualifications I hold as an instructor. Part of my coaching role means holding an enhanced Police Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and a First Aid Certificates. So all you have to do is sit back and relax and enjoy watching your child having fun at their party in the knowledge that they are not only happy but safe too.
